Free consultation prior to your event - This is an ongoing consultation, not just a one time thing. We stay in touch with both you AND your other vendors to make sure things will go smoothly at your event. This helps take the worry out.

No Charge for Setup and Tear Down - We arrive about 45 minutes prior to your event to setup equipment, test and do all sound checks prior to your guests arriving. (Wedding Receptions we arrive about an hour before it is due to begin.)

Access to over 40,000 songs from 1930 to next month's new releases. If you have special songs that you want played (and we know about it in advance), we will BUY it at no extra charge to you. We play as many requests as possible, providing the requests coming in are in-line with what the rest of the guests want to hear. Even in circumstances where someone requests a song nobody else will want to hear, we'll make an honest attempt to work it in just to keep that one person happy.

Professional Audio Equipment - We use the latest technology. And because we only use DIGITAL recordings from CD's, MP3's and MiniDiscs, you can rest assured that you'll have reliable, quality sound for your event. Most mobile DJs use standard CD technology or IPods... we bring ours ONLY as a backup in case something fails. We carry dual laptops with twin 80 gigabyte drives with over 40,000 songs to each event. There is little chance of one of your guests requesting a song we don't have. Try getting that level of service from a DJ carrying a hundred CDs (with less than 1000 songs), who has to search through them each time a guest simply requests a song (or an IPod with no search capability at all). We'll even let people come around behind the DJ booth and pick through our list... and then listen to it on headphones before it's played. We can have the list up JUST for that band or artist in less than 15 seconds, show them the monitor and simply let them choose which song they want to hear. From there, it can be playing in less than 5 seconds. We typically will just mix that song in when the next opportunity arises.

No DJ Wanna-Be's
Tunes To Go is a single-op DJ service, meaning the owner plays each and every event personally. While some companies brag they have 10 or 20 units and DJs, we don't think sending a DJ-in-training is fair to our clients. You get 30+ years' experience with us... and who-knows-what with the others? But we encourage you to stop around for competitive pricing if 1) the event doesn't warrant a real professional DJ, or 2) hiring a pro is financially beyond the importance of the event.

An MC for your event - Tunes To Go doesn't just play music, we also act as your Master of Ceremonies (MC) for those important events like: Introductions, Giveaways, Announcements & Special Dances (i.e. proms, homecomings), and even to announce birthdays and dedications.
